Well, you can actually do this anyway without any talent at all. But in order to monetize your channel and make some cash, you have to know what you are doing and start to amass a trend and following.
There are about five different ways you can monetize your YouTube channel, but certain parameters must be met:
- You must have 1000 Subscribers or more
- You must sign up with Google AdSense
- You must have about 4000 hours of video watch time in a years time frame
Once these parameters are met, you will receive access to start making money with YouTube.
About how much money a YouTuber makes per 1,000,000 views? About $3000+ on average. That may not seem like alot for the work that you will have to put in, but if you are able to leverage a platform that followers like, that $3000 could be per video, and that could be monthly!
You can either:
- Utilize Ads (Google AdSense)
- Affiliate Marketing (Using referral Links..My personal Fav..)
- Getting Sponsorship from companies
- Having your subscribers donate to you or your cause
- Selling Merchandise (T-shirts, Bags..Etc)
There is nothing wrong with utilizing all of these techniques, as long as a Sponsor doesn't contradict with another product or service.
No guarantees that you will become rich being a You Tuber, and less than 10% of all Vloggers are making a living wage off of their videos. But if you have the drive and a plan, you could be the next big Viral video star.
Example: channel and video with 30 Million views
That's about $3000 x 30 = $90,000 for 1 Video
